Teaching Writing to Students with Significant Disa
Target Audience:
(Target Audience Unspecified)
Abstract:
This workshop will focus on instructional strategies to help teachers teach writing to students with significant disabilities. All of the instructional strategies were developed and refined through the SWIM grant so are proven to be helpful during instruction. While this training will focus on students who take the alternate assessment, it will be appropriate for any teacher who has students with significant disabilities. The same material is covered each day so please register for one day only. Participants are responsible for their own lunches and snacks and should bring their own laptops.
