The clinic will provide a review of Title I-A requirements for LEAs to provide equitable services for eligible private school children, including consultation requirements. Participants will be  provided with  resources to support them in conducting consultation, which begins in the spring. The workshop will :

1. Explain the purpose and goals of Title 1A and its equitable services provisions

2. Provide Participants with a basic  understanding of the specific requirements under Title 1A for equitable services to private schools

3. Provide participants with an understanding of the collection of poverty data to calculate the proportion of Title 1-A funds for the LEA’s Title 1-A private schools program

4. Provide participants with an understanding of the consultation process between public and private school officials

 Title I Directors from LEAs that do not need to meet this requirement (i.e. State operated programs and charter school LEAs) do not need to attend.
