During this session, RIDE will engage participants in activities focused on unpacking the new CAEP 2018 K-6 Elementary Teacher Preparation Standards (see attachment) and comparing the new standards with the outdated 2007 ACEI Standards.  RIDE will also facilitate a consultancy to get faculty and district input into a dilemma it currently faces regarding elementary reading.  The session is open to all elementary education program faculty and leadership as well as district partners.
