[RIDE] - annual graduates and dropouts reports for your review |

Federal guidance on dropout definition are included on the notes page.
These are annual graduates and dropout reports for 2008 for submission to USDE, they are NOT the same as the cohort graduation and dropout reports.
Reports are compiled using the most current enrollment census records for 2008 and 2009 and by strictly following the federal guidelines.
Ealier this morning I emailed you about some data issues related to coding the graduates and dropouts in summer withdrawals, if you have to make corrections, please do so at your earliest convenience.
If you have students orginally coded as dropouts for 2008 but later enrolled in 2009, you do not need to correct the records for 2008, I already dropped them from the dropout list.
Please use caution when you use the Enrollment Census to view the individual students who graduated and dropped out in two different years, the numbers may be higher or lower for situations like above.
Please share and review the reports with the administration. We will provide generic signoff forms at a later time.
