[RIDE] - important note on cohort graduation data |

| We are sending this memo to all district superintendents, school directors, data and IT directors.
The cohort graduation and dropout data are now in the hands of district data managers for final review, update and sign-off through an eRIDE application called 'Update Student Exits'.
Important information and instructions about this reporting has been posted on eRIDE or https://www.eride.ri.gov/exitsupdate/instructions.asp
We want to thank many of you who participated in today's Webex workshop on this reporting. We ask you to review the instructions carefully before you start working on the data sets because requirements have changed.
Please complete the updates and sign off the data no later than 1/20/2009. Upon completion of this process, RIDE will recalculate, publish and release the rates to the public in late January.
Please determine a process for you, your data manager, and district and school administrators to review the data for accuracy. Please keep in mind that the files should reflect all your enrollment and dropout data submissions from 2003-04 to-date.
This timeline will not be extended. This is an important opportunity for you to ensure that your schools’ data are accurate for accountability purposes. Please make every effort to clean your data in the allotted time.
