[RIDE] accounting student exits |

| At one of the State's data meeting, some of you asked if there are national standards on accounting student exit stataus. Here is the best document we can find on this topic, it is available for you to view and download from the NCES's Web site:

This document gives good guidance on tracking and verifying student transfers and exits. RIDE currently does not have a statutory language, or guidelines, regulations for auditing student exit status or other data used in the calculation of graduation and dropout rates. RIDE is however currently working on a process to require districts to review, update and sign off the needed data for final calculations.
