RIDE - final call for resolving the duplicates in the Oct enrollment report |

| This message is sent to all LEA superintendents and school directors, and data managers.
The last day for submitting the Oct 1st enrollment data was Oct 15th. The districts were given until October 29th to resolve any duplicates and problems and sign off reports. Hundreds of duplicate cases and other data problems have been resolved, and yet, there are still over 470 duplicate cases unresolved across the State (see http://www.eride.ri.gov/doc/oct_duplicates.pdf).
Many are simply multiple reporting of the same students within the same district and even the same schools!
Next Monday I will be submitting your reported October enrollment data for State and Federal reporting and for State Aid and other high stake planning purposes. Unless these duplicate cases are resolved by Monday 11/8/04, they will NOT be included in the final analysis and reporting!
