RIDE: Reporting Information of School and District Capacities |

| This is to inform you that an eRIDE application on District/School Capacity Indicators has just been delivered to your portal.
This year we are simplifying the data collection process from your schools. In the past, we asked your principals to send to us a variety of data called the “SALT data”. Most of this data was quantitative and much of it was difficult for the principal to acquire. Consequently, this year we will request a more limited amount of qualitative information. This information is about aspects of the school that your principals should be well versed in, and we anticipate that they will have little or no trouble answering the questions we are sending out to them.
We are also asking superintendents to supply us with similar information about the district.
As in the past, we ask you and your principals to login to eRIDE (http://www.eride.ri.gov/) and click on School Capacity Indicators to submit the information. The most up-to-date instructions for submitting the information are posted online (http://www.eride.ri.gov/doc/salt_doc.asp). Your user login/password is attached below.
The deadline for submitting this information is July 15, 2004.
