RIDE - instructions on submitting the Spring student Rosters |

| This message is sent to all district superintendents' office and the district data managers.
In early February the Assessment Office mailed the letter and a set of instructions on how to prepare and submit the Spring 04 student rosters for the State Assessment to the Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, Principals and district data managers. If you don't have the instructions, you may download the them electronically by following the eRIDE link beblow, click on Trainings/Workshops, and then click on 'Reporting Spring 04 Student Rosters'.
The districts will be able to submit the rosters online through the eRIDE portal later this week. In the meantime, we suggest the districts start preparing the rosters (preferably with Microsoft Excel) and have the principals review and sign off the rosters. We will inform you when you can submit the rosters electronically.
We also suggest you send district personnel to this upcoming training (Friday March 19th) on reporting the Spring Rosters if they are yet unfamiliar with the online procedures. Last year, we provided extensive trainings on submitting the October membership data and on submitting the student roster data in December for selected grades for test labelling.
