Subject: Nonpublic October Enrollment Data Submission
Every year, The RI Department of Education (RIDE) collects student enrollment data from Nonpublic schools with an October 1st enrollment reported date. One of the very important uses of this enrollment data is in the formulation of allocations funded under several federal programs serving Local Educational Agencies (LEAs) and Nonpublic schools throughout Rhode Island. Under the law, these programs provide for the equitable participation in educational services to teachers and students within Nonpublic schools. In order for a Nonpublic school to be eligible to participate in these programs which will be administered by the LEAs during the 2017 – 2018 school year, RIDE must receive the requested student enrollment data. The deadline for submission is December 22, 2016.
To submit your School's enrollment data through the mandatory online submission system, please login to eRIDE at www.eride.ri.gov. If you have forgotten your login or password, please call Mario Goncalves at 222-8968. Once logged on, click on 'Nonpublic Online Forms' then 'Fill Out Form'. Membership should be reported as close to October 1st as possible by the community in which the pupil resides.
Once you complete the Nonpublic October Enrollment Report, you will need to 'sign-off' on the report. Click the 'sign-off' link, print, sign and date this form and then scan and email the file to erideinternal@ride.ri.gov or mail it to RIDE. Please ignore this memo if you already complete and send the sign form to RIDE.
If you have any questions or are in need of technical assistance, please feel free to contact our Help Desk erideinternal@ride.ri.gov or call 222-8968. We would like to assist you in any way we can, so that you are included in this very important collection.
Thank you for your cooperation
