PARCC Summative File Review |

| Good Morning,
A demographic PARCC summative file will be released on Monday July 27th and will be available to the districts via District Exchange no later than the end of the day on Wednesday July 29th. Pearson would like to have the states and LEAs verify the student level data on the summative file prior to populating it with assessment data. The purpose of this review is to validate that what will be reported by PARCC is accurate as state reporting will be constructed from this data.
Our assessment team has been working with PARCC to review and clean up the data as much as possible to this point. We believe that we have cleaned as much data as possible and would now ask you to verify the following information:
• Was the student enrolled during the time period the assessment was taken?
• Did all of the enrolled students take a test?
• Did the student take the proper test?
• Are the demographics of the student correct?
We understand that this is a busy time of year with year-end and new-year rollover operations and staff vacations. It is not our intent to overload districts at this time but when this small window opened, we thought it important to provide the opportunity to review the data we currently hold and provide input if you can.
