| As we approach the end of the school year, we need to start preparing for the new one. It is very important that we have accurate and timely data about all of our schools and districts. This data is used in many facets: administrators and teachers need good data to drive performance and to help students achieve. Parents, policymakers, and taxpayers need good data to drive systems reforms and to hold us all accountable for results.
The RIDE Office of Data Analysis and Research needs to have the updated district profile information for the next school year by June 30th, 2013. Please work with your administrators to review your district profile. Because some of the changes need to be approved by the Data Governance Board, please use the forms in the School Profile module in eRIDE to request changes on grade span, school name, closing or opening of schools.
