[RIDE] - Important message from the Health Department |

| Please see the message below from the Health Department regarding attendance data:
I'd like to thank all the schools who have contributed to school absenteeism surveillance and reported absenteeism data to RIDE this year. These data are also used by the RI Department of Health as a tool to identify clusters of illness and expedite response when possible. Reporting to RIDE has remained stable this year and is similar to last year's reporting. We would like to see an increase, however, as more complete reporting will lead to better identification and response to any clusters or outbreaks. Once again, thank you for contributing this valuable information.
