| Please see the following message from the Division of Infectious Disease and Epidemiology (IDE) at the Department of Health (DOH):
“We are concerned at IDE because low reporting is persistent through October and this is jeopardizing our ability to create a baseline level of absences for schools for the months of September and October. Without a baseline for September/October we will have less information with which to adequately identify if abnormal absences are recorded in the future and if action needs to be taken."
