[RIDE] - Data Tracking for Early Intervening Services (EIS) |
Deanna Raphael-State |
Please see the following from Emily Klein, Education Specialist; this has also been shared with the business managers:
The following districts are reserving EIS funds in their IDEA Part B FY12 grants and WILL be required to track EIS data through eRIDE:
Beacon, Bristol-Warren, Burrillville, Central Falls, Coventry, Cranston, Cumberland, East Greenwich, East Providence, Highlander, International Charter, Jamestown, Johnston, Lincoln, Middletown, Narragansett, Newport, North Kingstown, North Providence, North Smithfield, Pawtucket, Paul Cuffee, Portsmouth, Providence, South Kingstown, Tiverton, Warwick, West Warwick, Westerly, Woonsocket.
Please reference http://www.ride.ri.gov/OSCAS/Documents/EIS_tracking_and_reporting.ppt for guidance on tracking requirements, identifying which students are to be tracked, and how EIS funds may be used.
All districts using EIS funds must track and report students who benefit from those dollars, even districts which are voluntarily using the funds. Not all interventions fall under EIS dollars, and therefore may not be reported in this collection.
If outstanding program and guidance questions remain after viewing the PowerPoint material, please contact Emily at Emily.Klein@ride.ri.gov . For questions related to technical assistance with data and eRIDE, please contact the eRIDE HelpDesk at helpdesk@ride.ri.gov.
Thanks for your help!
Emily
